Sanba, which developed from tropical disturbances in the western part of the South China Sea, was the first typhoon to make landfall on Hainan Island this year. According to the typhoon news released by the Central Meteorological Observatory at 19:9 on the 19th, the "Sanba" center made landfall on the coast of Dongfang City around 19 o'clock on the 9th, and the maximum wind near the center was 8 (20 m/s) at landfall, and the lowest pressure in the center was 998 hPa. The "Sambus" is expected to move northerly at a speed of 10-15 kilometers per hour, gradually increasing in intensity.

Zheng Yan, chief forecaster of the Hainan Meteorological Observatory, said that after the "Sanba" entered the northern sea of Beibu Gulf on the night of the 19th, it was predicted that it would turn back nearly 180 degrees due to the cold air from the south, that is, on the night of the 19th, it turned around in the southern waters of Fangchenggang, Guangxi, and the intensity also weakened. However, the degree of influence of cold air on the "Samba" still changes, and there is still great uncertainty in the path of the "Samba" after entering the northern part of the Beibu Gulf.

Affected by the "Sanba", the Sanya City Mountain and Water Wading Tourist Scenic Area in the south of Hainan Island has been temporarily suspended before 18 o'clock on the 15th. From 18 o'clock on the 8th, all tourist ships, yachts and ferries under the jurisdiction of Sanya Maritime Safety Bureau are prohibited from sailing. The passenger roller in the Qiongzhou Strait in the north of Hainan Island will be suspended from 19 o'clock on the 4th.

Shi Yan, a meteorological analyst at China Weather Network, believes that "Sanba" will combine with cold air from the south to bring continuous heavy rainfall to the southern coast of South China, with a large cumulative rainfall, and it is necessary to be vigilant against secondary disasters. (End)
