The meteorological department predicts that the center of "Sanba" will move north-west at a speed of about 15 kilometers per hour, gradually increasing in intensity, and make landfall or wipe the coast from Sanya in Hainan to the east on the night of the 18th.

The Pearl River Committee said that under the influence of "Sanba", from the 18th to the 21st, the cumulative rainfall in southeastern Guangxi, southwestern Guangxi and eastern Hainan was 100 mm to 300 mm, and the local area could reach more than 400 mm; The main stream and tributaries of the middle and lower reaches of the Xijiang River in Guangxi, the Zuojiang, Yujiang, Beiliuhe, and coastal rivers in Guinan, the coastal rivers in western Guangdong, the Nandu River and the Wanquan River in Hainan will have obvious water rise processes, and the risk of over-warning flooding, flash flood disasters and urban waterlogging of small and medium-sized rivers in heavy rainfall areas will be greater.
