Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), called on the nation's masses to raise a public alarm on Friday under the slogan "Let the aggression on Gaza stop, not displacement or an alternative homeland."

Haniyeh stressed – in a speech – that the whole world is still following the "legendary steadfastness" recorded by the Palestinian people in Gaza, "steadfast and proud" and the recordings of the Palestinian resistance, which is managing this battle ably, as he put it.

He also stressed that the resistance has begun its resounding strategic strike, and is still controlling the rhythm of this battle despite the "brutality" of the occupier, his crimes, indiscriminate killing and deliberate shelling of homes.

Haniyeh added that these crimes are being followed by the whole world, and they also record once again the nature of the enemy, the "Nazi monster, fascist and murderer", which left hundreds of martyrs, including children, women and the elderly.

At the field level, Haniyeh spoke about the Israeli aggression that extends to the West Bank, referring to the massacre of Nour Shams camp and then southern Lebanon, in order to break the will of the people and the resistance.

In an international context, Haniyeh stressed that Hamas is following the American political moves and some European officials and their visit to the state of the "Zionist entity" with the aim of continuing to provide psychological and moral support to the occupation army and the "collapsed" Israeli society after the strategic blow struck by the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, with the beginning of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
