The second part of "The Three Musketeers" will be released in cinemas on December 13th. To make us wait until then, Pathé has just unveiled an epic trailer for the film, in which François Civil, the magnificent D'Artagnan, and Eva Green, the enigmatic Milady, face each other.

There are only two short months to go before the release of the second part of The Three Musketeers on December 13th... And the rest of D'Artagnan's adventures promises to be epic, if we are to believe the trailer unveiled this Thursday by Pathé.

D'Artagnan will do everything he can to find Constance Bonacieux

We see the famous musketeer, played by François Civil, getting closer to the mysterious Milady, alias Eva Green, to find and save his beloved Constance Bonacieux, played by Lyna Khoudri. Remember, at the end of the first part of The Three Musketeers, released last April in theaters, Constance Bonacieux was kidnapped by Richelieu's henchmen. D'Artagnan will do everything he can to save her, accompanied by his three acolytes Athos (Vincent Cassel), Aramis (Romain Duris), and Porthos (Pio Marmaï).

This second part, still focusing on D'Artagnan, also explores the personality of Milady, a woman as dangerous as she is enigmatic. "In the second part, we really understand why Milady became Milady. Why she became this ruthless woman. I really enjoyed this challenge," her interpreter Eva Green told our colleagues at Allociné last year.

The first instalment of The Three Musketeers, a blockbuster that cost €36 million, was a hit in cinemas with 3.3 million admissions. It is the third French film at the box office of 2023, behind Asterix and Obelix: The Middle Kingdom, and Alibi.com 2.
