On October 10, one house was burned down in Deto-cho, Yurihonjo City, Akita Prefecture, and one person was found dead from the second floor, and the bodies of two men were found in another building on the same site.
According to the police, five people lived in the house where the fire broke out, and the two people found in another building on the site were identified as Shinichi Saito (9) and his eldest son Takahiko (1), who live in this house.
In both cases, the cause of death was a head injury, and there was a wound that looked like it had been hit with something like a blunt object.
Another man, found in the burned house, is known to have died of blood loss due to a cut in his neck.
Since Saito's second son has not been contacted, the police are confirming and listening to his family to further investigate the situation at the time.
