An employee who was arrested for killing a 33-year-old manager at a restaurant in Yokohama City, a suspect of a relative of the manager, made a statement to the effect that he "stabbed him with a kitchen knife and then fled to Nagoya on the bullet train," according to interviews with investigators.
Police are investigating the relationship between the two men and how they came to the incident.

On September 9, in the case of the murder of Hiroki Ohashi (15), the manager of a ramen shop in Kamiooka Nishi, Konan-ku, Yokohama City, Akihito Ohashi (33), an employee and relative of the store manager, was arrested on suspicion of murder.

According to the police, he admitted the charges to the investigation and said that he "killed using a kitchen knife".

The suspect was secured at a hotel in Nagoya City on the 35th, but interviews with investigators revealed that he had made a statement to the effect that he had stabbed and then fled to Nagoya on the bullet train.

According to the investigation so far, the ramen shop was open as usual at noon on the day of the incident, and by 17 p.m., there was a sign saying "temporarily closed".

Police believe the incident occurred after noon business and are investigating the relationship between the two men and the circumstances of the incident.
