For the fourth week, Karama Square is still crowded with protesters, and the numbers are increasing, and momentum is mounting. With the entry of Sheikh Al-Aql "Al-Hinnawi" to the scene, and directing his decisive word to the Syrians, we can say that Suwayda did not raise the ceiling, but overthrew it, and that the line of return has become in the past, and that the lie of "protecting minorities" has been revealed to the whole world, and has become in itself a scandal for this tyrannical regime that has remained for 50 years sheltering minorities, and in return has given them nothing but poverty, humiliation and homelessness.

So far, he has never thought of anything other than a military solution, instructing his Baath Party operatives in Sweida to shoot at demonstrators, as we saw last Friday. He also withdrew his forces from several checkpoints and evacuated military barracks in Daraa in conjunction with these demonstrations.

There is no doubt that he is thinking, as usual, of dressing them in ISIS militants clothes for a military battle to eliminate this movement.

The Suwayda demonstrations came as an inevitable result of the deterioration of the situation at all levels, and came with a speech that cannot be slandered by any side at all, a national discourse par excellence, a civil discourse demanding justice and democracy in accordance with international resolutions, transcending sectarianism and sectarianism, and enjoying acceptance by all Syrians, even those who were from the regime's sect.

Back to the starting point in 2011

This makes this movement exemplary, as if it revives the original face of the Syrian revolution, its just demands for freedom, civil and democracy, which were called for by the demonstrations of the first revolution for almost a year before the regime, with international support, was able to distort them, and present them to the world as a terrorist revolution, after it released its top terrorists from prisons to form armed factions such as Jabhat al-Nusra and others.

But the situation in Suwayda today is completely different, and the civil demands are clear, and the most important demand is what the world agreed on, which is the implementation of UN Resolution 2254, so it is not surprising to hear from the United States expressing its concern about reports about the tyrannical regime's use of force against demonstrators, and we hear from it confirming a political solution in accordance with the aforementioned UN resolution.

It is also not surprising to hear the same words from the French Foreign Office and the British Foreign Office and their demand for the regime to stop attacks on civilians and engage in a political solution in accordance with the UN resolution. These statements by the three superpowers coincided with the statement of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, who also expressed concern about the worsening of the conflict and its negative impact on civilians, noting that the conflict has greatly affected populated areas, vital facilities, freedom of movement, and food prices. This reminds us of the concern of the former Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, who continued to express his concern for 7 years from the beginning of the revolution until the end of his term.

The question that preoccupies Syrians now is the fate of these demonstrations and the extent of their impact on the rest of the Syrian governorates, specifically the Syrian coast.

Vase placement

This phrase is said as a description of a person who is indifferent to what is going on around him. This is the position that the whole world has taken towards the Syrian issue. He still looks at this geographical spot (Syria) as a country that has its own sovereign decision, and that people can live on this land, the displacement of half the population is not worth pursuing, and the death of more than two million people is not worth following, and the rest of the people no longer find in garbage containers what to eat, so the Syrian only hears from them expressions of concern, and this exactly gives the regime a state of reassurance on its situation that made one of the officials In it, he declares in response to a question about the sanctions that await them: "We are waiting for the reward."

The Sweida demonstrations came as an inevitable result of the deterioration of the situation at all levels, and came with a discourse that cannot be slandered by any side at all, a national discourse par excellence, a civil discourse demanding justice and democracy in accordance with international resolutions, transcending sectarianism and sectarianism, and enjoying acceptance by all Syrians, even those who were from the regime's sect.

The hour will rise and the coast will not rise

One of the Syrian activists wrote this phrase on his Facebook account, stressing that the Alawite sect will not move no matter how bad the situation in Syria, because the members of the sect have their own accounts in participation, which remain under thinking and circulation wrapped in many fears, fear of arrest, fear of losing the leadership of the country, fear of returning to their justified and unjustified historical grievances, but in general they have become fully aware of the size of the deception practiced by this family on them, which even reached suspicion of its Alawite and Syrian origins to them, and that After they paid the greatest price they paid throughout the history of their grievances, the number of their sons killed in order to keep Bashar al-Assad at the head of the regime exceeded half a million dead, and the reward for the martyr's family was a wall clock, an orange box or a box of "mate".

The Druze have certainly not forgotten their special gift given by Assad to those killed defending him, a "black goat", a special gift compared to the mate box and wall clock he gave to the families of the dead Alawites.

The question that preoccupies Syrians now is the fate of these demonstrations and the extent of their impact on the rest of the Syrian provinces, specifically the Syrian coast.

Will the process of thinking and trading among the Alawites be prolonged? Or will we see in the near future an event that will end this farce? At a time when every free Syrian has to think about the mechanisms for restoring a unified Syria, because the reality that is clearly visible today says that Syria has become 4 or 4 regions, and only the Alawite community will decide this matter, either by staying within this division, or by working to restore unity to this homeland.
