At a regular press conference on the 12th, Mr. Shinnami, Representative Secretary of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives, stated that the response of Johnny's Office to the issue of Janie Kitagawa's sexual assault was "insufficient" and expressed his recognition that relief for victims should be expedited.

In it, Representative Director Shinnami harshly criticized the issue of Janie Kitagawa's sexual assault, saying, "The emotional trauma of the victim is beyond imagination and should never happen."

Regarding the response of Johnny's Office, which held a press conference last week, he said, "Although there was an apology, it is very doubtful whether the current regime sincerely reflects on the sexual assault. He expressed his recognition that efforts should be made to provide relief to victims and strengthen the governance system as an urgent measure.

In response to this problem, there is a growing movement among companies to review their relationships, such as not signing new contracts with talents belonging to Johnny's Office.

Regarding this, Mr. Sinami said, "This is an event that companies must take a firm and firm stance, and the appointment of talent from an office is a corporate admission of sexual abuse, which is condemned internationally. It is very difficult for the talents working in the office, but I think there are various ways to do it, such as moving to another office."
