Nanchang, 9 Sep (ZXS) -- With the completion of the replacement of 11 km long steel rail in the Shacun section of Jiangxi Taihe County of the Beijing-Kowloon Railway, it marks the completion of the "concentrated repair" of the Jiangxi section of the Beijing-Kowloon Railway. The intensive repair began on May 1 and lasted 11 days, making it the longest centralized maintenance construction since the Jiangxi section of the Beijing-Kowloon Railway was completed and opened to traffic.

According to the railway department, the Beijing-Kowloon Railway is a railway transportation artery connecting the north and south of China, and the Jiangxi section has a length of 731 kilometers, which plays an important role in promoting Jiangxi's economic development. Due to the busy train transportation, the equipment of the Jiangxi section of the line has been worn to varying degrees.

In order to eliminate the hidden dangers of equipment safety and ensure the safety of passenger and cargo transportation. China Railway Nanchang Bureau Group Co., Ltd. organized Yingtan Public Works Machinery Section and other units to use the idle time of the suspension of train operation to carry out comprehensive centralized maintenance such as overhaul and screening, track change, pillow change, etc., to further improve the quality of the line and enhance the comfort of passengers.

In this centralized maintenance construction, the railway department gave full play to the advantages of large corps and mechanized operation, made full use of mechanized road maintenance equipment such as screening machines, tamping machines, railway multi-functional work vehicles, etc., and mobilized more than 100 large-scale road maintenance machines and more than 3000,<> operators to participate in the construction and improve construction quality and efficiency. At the same time, do a good job of construction safety prediction and key link card control to ensure that the normal operation of the train is not affected by construction.

According to the statistics of the railway department, the centralized maintenance of the Jiangxi section of the Beijing-Kowloon Railway has completed a total of 100.8 kilometers of mechanized screening, 38 kilometers of mechanized pillow replacement, and 206 kilometers of track change in sections, which effectively improves the quality of the line and ensures the safety of train operation.
