Hangzhou, September 9 (Qian Chenfei) On the 6th, Fuchun Mountain Residence · The Special Collection Museum of Chinese Paintings of the Past was officially opened in Fuyang, Hangzhou, which is the first special collection museum of the "Chinese Dynasty Painting Department" in China, which was jointly built by the relevant departments of Fuyang District of Hangzhou City and Zhejiang University Press, which will permanently treasure a complete set of "Chinese Paintings of the Past Dynasties" and gradually open to the whole society in an orderly manner.

Chinese painting is a treasure of China's excellent traditional culture and one of the important material carriers of national cultural self-confidence. Compiled and published by Zhejiang University and Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Heritage Bureau, the "Department of Chinese Paintings of Past Dynasties" is a large-scale, historical and national-level major cultural project spanning China and abroad. By the end of 2022, the "Great Series of Chinese Paintings of the Past Dynasties" has included a total of 263,12405 pieces (sets) of Chinese painting collections from 60 cultural and museum institutions at home and abroad, and compiled and published "Complete Paintings of the Pre-Qin, Han and Tang Dynasties", "Complete Works of Song Paintings", "Complete Works of Yuan Paintings", "Complete Works of Ming Paintings" and "Complete Works of Qing Paintings", a total of 226 volumes and <> volumes.

At the opening ceremony, Qiu Yun, vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of Fuyang District, Hangzhou, said that the first special collections museum in China to present the results of the "Chinese Painting Series" settled in Fuyang because Fuyang has the ruins of a paper workshop in the Song Dynasty, and Fuyang is the real and original place of Huang Gongwang's "Fuchun Mountain Residence Map", and the inheritance of Chinese cultural spirit. The establishment of the Special Collections Museum aims to bring dusty artistic treasures into the homes of ordinary people.

Jin Gengda, general manager of Zhejiang University Press, said in his speech on behalf of Zhejiang University that he hoped that Fuchun Mountain House would be able to live in a rich mountain. The Special Collection Museum of Chinese Paintings of Past Dynasties can continue to play an active role in disseminating excellent traditional Chinese culture and practicing cultural self-confidence, making in-depth use of the "Great Series of Chinese Paintings of Past Dynasties", solving the genetic code of the continuous inheritance of Chinese civilization, and striving to provide the public, especially the young generation, with spiritual food for the new era. On this basis, Zhejiang University will also promote the construction plan of "100 Special Collections", so as to contribute to Zhejiang's continued promotion of cultural prosperity and the construction of a new chapter of modern civilization of the Chinese nation at a new historical starting point.

The special collections is located in Hangzhou Fuyang Gongwang Art Museum, with a total area of 380 square meters, including reading area, exhibition area, interactive area and digital experience area. Among them, the reading area will display the books of "Chinese Painting Series" in batches and stages, and the current presentation is "Complete Works of Song Painting", which is the beginning of the "Chinese Painting Series" and also has a unique "Song Yun temperament".
