In July, police arrested four new suspects, including a man believed to be the perpetrator who was fleeing the scene, on suspicion of robbery and injury in the case of a man who was in a business negotiation with a masked man who was in a business negotiation at a tower apartment in Naniwa Ward, Osaka.

Four people were arrested, including Hitomi Kumagawa (21), who is believed to be the perpetrator, and Tatsuya Shigenaga (20), whose occupation is unknown from Sakai City, Osaka.

According to the police, in July this year, a 4-year-old man who was having a business discussion about crypto assets was suspected of robbing about 7 million yen in cash by spraying tear gas and hitting him in the face in a common area called a lounge on the 29th floor of a tower apartment building in Namba, Naniwa-ku, Osaka.

In this case, Tomoki Takahashi (62), a resident of the apartment building who was the man's business partner, was arrested on the day of the incident and subsequently charged, and the police were investigating the whereabouts of the masked man who fled the scene.

When the police analyzed the surrounding security camera footage, they found that several people, including the driver of the car that was believed to have been used during the escape, were suspected of being involved in the incident and arrested a total of four new people.

Police are investigating the relationship between the five men and the whereabouts of the stolen cash.

Police have not confirmed the identities of the five men.
