Mathieu Kassovitz has just given for the first time of his news since his serious motorcycle accident last Sunday. From his hospital bed, the 56-year-old actor thanked his fans for their support and said he was in rehabilitation after breaking his femur and ankle.

Mathieu Kassovitz is doing better. Three days after being the victim of a serious motorcycle accident at the autodrome of Linas-Monthléry, in the Essonne, the 56-year-old actor gave reassuring news of his state of health from his hospital bed. "I wanted to thank everyone who sent me messages, I did not know that I had so many friends," he said, in the preamble, in a story shared on his Instagram account on Wednesday, September 6.

"I fell off my motorcycle,, and I sped my femur and ankle [...]. I am in rehabilitation and I am coming out of the operation. Thank you all, thank you very much for your support," added the director, hospitalized in the Kremlin-Bicêtre, in the Val-de-Marne.

Last Sunday, Mathieu Kassovitz aroused the concern of his fans and all his relatives after being violently ejected from the motorcycle he was riding alone. The star was taking advanced driving courses for a new movie.

The actor is currently starring in the film Visions, with Diane Kruger. "It's stupid, there's Visions coming out in theaters, I won't be able to go, but I hope you go, see you guys very much," he concluded in his Instagram story. His playing partner sent him a message of support the day before: "My friend... We've been talking about you for two days. Two days of anguish. I see you everywhere on the street on the poster of our film. The day before the release, I am moved. Moved to know that you will get through it, even if it will be long and painful... " wrote the actress, upset.
