Regarding the issue surrounding the former Unification Church, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) has decided to notify the Tokyo District Court on the 100th to impose an "fine" for administrative penalties for refusing to answer more than 7 items to the exercise of the right to ask questions. We will delimit the exercise of the "right to question" and begin full-scale consideration toward the decision on requesting a dissolution order from the denomination.

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) held a council meeting of religious corporations on June 6 and announced that it would ask the Tokyo District Court to impose a "fine" for administrative penalties because the former Unification Church has exercised its "right to question" seven times so far and requested reports on more than 7 items such as organizational management and donations, but the church has not responded appropriately.

It states that the cult refused to answer more than 500 questions and did not answer the questions again, and that "the degree of violation is not minor."

The members in attendance expressed the opinion that it was appropriate to request that fines be imposed, so the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) decided to notify the Tokyo District Court by mail on June 100 and request that fines be imposed.

After that, the Tokyo District Court will decide whether it is appropriate to impose a fine on the former Unification Church.

The hearing will be held in private, and the Order may appeal if a "fine" is ordered.

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) intends to limit the exercise of the "right to question" and to begin full-scale consideration of whether to request a dissolution order to the cult based on the content of the answers so far and the information accumulated through interviews with former believers who complain of damage.

On the other hand, the cult has posted on its website, "We have thought that the exercise of the right to ask questions is illegal and there is no reason to answer, but in order to accurately convey and understand the history of our corporation, we have sincerely answered questions every time.
