The suspect arrested was Shoya Yamashita, 27, a construction worker in Shimomabushi Town, Kadoma City, Osaka Prefecture.

According to the police, from the early morning of June 6 to the early morning of June 18, Seika Tagawa (4), who lives in an apartment complex in Kashihara City, Nara Prefecture, was suspected of causing death by beating her to death by pressing on her abdomen.

Seika lost consciousness on the 19th of the next day, and when Yamashita and her mother drove her to the hospital, the hospital reported to the police that there was a possibility of abuse.

The suspect had been dating his mother since April and visited Seika and her mother's room on weekends.
