The clapper has sounded for the last time at the home of the Alcántara, the protagonist family of 'Cuéntame cómo pasó', which has recorded this Wednesday, September 6, the last sequences of the 23rd season, which will be broadcast on La 1 in the coming months.

Twenty-two years after that Thursday, September 13, 2001 in which the Alcántaras appeared for the first time on the screens of TVE, the lights have gone out in the neighborhood of San Genaro and in the house of Sagrillas, the small homeland of the family.

There were Imanol Arias and Ana Duato, excited about the last shots they will share on the small screen as Antonio and Merche.

"It is a day with a mixture of emotions, the truth, but with the satisfaction of having done a good job," said Ana Duato. "They're taking pictures of all the teams. And it's like a very bright door where people go and say goodbye very happy. And then you are happy, with many desires," said Imanol Arias.

After a shoot of 61 days and overcoming the temperatures of the hottest summer recording outdoors in Segovia, Madrid, Guadalajara and Toledo, the family has said goodbye to the sets at the Grupo Ganga production center in Pinto with several scenes performed in the living room and in the kitchen of the apartment of Antonio (Imanol Arias) and Mercedes (Ana Duato).

The decorations belong to the floor of San Gennaro and others to the home in the village of Sagrillas. The sequences are part of the chapter 'Herminia', directed by Óscar Aibar and written by Ignacio del Moral and Jacobo Delgado.

Also present on the last day of recording of the season were María Galiana, Irene Visedo, Carmen Climent, Álvaro Díaz, and Carlos Serrano-Clark. Pablo Rivero and Paloma Bloyd had already said goodbye in previous days.

In the next season, which begins in 1994, each chapter is focused on one of the seven central characters of the series: Mercedes, Antonio, Inés, Toni, Herminia, María and Carlos. For this last chapter, the actors Elena Rivera and Ricardo Gómez return.

413 episodes and 3,000 shooting orders

Throughout these 22 years, more than 413 episodes have been recorded and more than 3,000 filming orders have been made. More than 2,000 actors have passed through the stages of the legendary RTVE series throughout this time.

Since June 12, the team has been saying goodbye to its first characters and sets. From that date, to this day there have been hugs, laughter and tears almost every day. There are many unforgettable moments that have been happening since the beginning of the filming of the 23rd season.

Moments like the one in which Ana Duato went to the other side of the camera and gave clapperboard and other equally endearing moments that many of the actors have wanted to immortalize with their mobiles. The emotion of the technical and artistic team when saying goodbye to the actors who recorded their last sequence is also to be remembered. For example, that of the little Sofía Otero, recent Silver Bear for the best interpretation at the Berlinade, who participates in the chapter entitled 'Antonio'.

'Cuéntame cómo pasó', produced by RTVE in collaboration with Grupo Ganga, has been a leader in audiences for almost two decades. Its most watched episode exceeded 51% of audience, with more than seven million viewers, and its golden minute touched 10 million followers. Figures that endorse it as the most watched and awarded fiction series of RTVE in its more than two decades of broadcast.
