ESC singer Lena Meyer-Landrut has suffered a double bone fracture in a serious riding accident. "Fell off my horse and fractured my double sacrum," the 32-year-old pop star said on Instagram. Meyer-Landrut added: "Of course, one bone is not enough."

She is now trying to "recover in the best possible way now, do it calmly and slowly". Instead of courting pity, she made an appeal to her fans: "Take care of yourselves as much as possible."

In 2010, at the age of 19, Meyer-Landrut suddenly became known to a wide audience when she won the Eurovision Song Contest. Since then, she has appeared not only at concerts, but also in numerous television formats and as a model.
