Ordos, June 6 (Olan Madani) On the 28th, the Red Cross Society of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region launched the 28 "Healthy Heart" rescue operation for children with congenital heart disease in Ordos City.

Launched by the Red Cross Society of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2018, the "Healthy Heart" rescue activity for children with congenital heart disease aims to help children with congenital heart disease from difficult families get rid of the disease and recover their health.

According to the materials provided by the Red Cross Society of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the 2023 "Healthy Heart" rescue operation for children with congenital heart disease is mainly aimed at children with congenital heart disease from low-income families with household registration age between 0~18 years old, urban and rural extremely poor people, disabled families, zero-employment families, and children with congenital heart disease who have serious difficulties in the basic life of the family due to serious illness, disaster or major emergencies. The scope of the operation was Hohhot, Baotou, Ordos, Bayannur, Wuhai and Alashan League.

On the morning of the 28th, families with congenital heart disease from Ordos, Wuhai and Alxa gathered at the Kangbashi Department of Ordos Central Hospital. After screening, the expert group issued the "Inner Mongolia "Healthy Heart" Congenital Heart Disease Screening Diagnosis to identify children with congenital heart disease who met the conditions for surgery. Sixteen children were screened that day, 3 of whom were eligible for surgery.

According to the plan, on July 7, experts will carry out screening for children in Hohhot, Baotou and Bayannur in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's Hospital. After that, after a series of procedures such as rescue application and public announcement, the Red Cross Society of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region carried out surgery on children diagnosed with congenital heart disease who met the indications and conditions for surgery.

Chen Liben, vice president of the Red Cross Society of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, said that since the Red Cross Society of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region organized and implemented the rescue activities for children with congenital heart disease in 2010, it has rescued more than 300 people.
