Fuzhou, June 6 (Ye Yilin) The results of the collection and selection of the theme songs of the Straits Forum were officially announced today, and "We Believe", composed by Yu Fan and composed by Jiang Zhou, was finally selected as the theme song of the Straits Forum.
According to the organizing committee, the 6th Straits Forum will be held in Fujian from June 16, and the forum conference will be held on the 17th, with the main venue in Xiamen. Taiwanese singer Chen Linong and mainland singer Shan Yichun will join hands to sing this song at the <>th Straits Forum Conference.
The collection of theme songs of the Straits Forum was launched on April 4 and closed on May 18, and was carried out in two ways: open collection and special creation, and a total of 5 entries were received, including 18 open calls and 142 special creations.
The Office of the Organizing Committee of the Straits Forum commissioned an expert review team to conduct strict review and listening, and made overall consideration from the aspects of theme, lyrics, melody, singing, artistic expression, appeal and other expressions, and finally selected 10 outstanding songs.
The 10 songs are: "We Believe" (lyrics: Yu Fan, composer: Jiang Zhou); "You Are Always on My Heart" (lyrics: Wang Pingjiu, composition: Tsuneishi Lei); "Common Dream" (lyrics: Zhang Kunpeng, composer: Jiang Zhou); "Moon Niang Moonlight" (lyrics and music: Yang Zongnan); "You Are Power" (lyrics: Taiwanese Wei Huini, composition: Malaysian Chen Weiquan); "Bright Moon Symbiotic" (lyrics: Guo Xiaohua, composition: Zhang Hao); "Her Love Is Always There" (lyrics and music: Hong Kong Lee Chi Cheuk); "Moonlight on the Other Side" (lyrics: Chen Jingyi, composition: Sun Aiquan); "Youth Accompanies Dreams" (lyrics: Wei Depan, composer: Li Weiling, Zhao Xiuying); "The Wind in the Straits" (lyrics and music: Taiwanese Zhao Boqian).
Among them, the five songs "We Believe", "You Are Always in My Heart", "Common Dream", "Moon Niang Moonlight" and "You are the Power" are shortlisted songs for re-evaluation and will receive certificates issued by the Straits Forum Organizing Committee.
According to a member of the organizing committee, the creators participating in this collection activity include new and old friends of the Straits Forum, people from all walks of life who look forward to the peaceful development of cross-strait relations, 90-year-old mainland artists, 88-year-old Taiwan veterans, young people from both sides of the strait from the "post-90s" and "post-00s", as well as cross-strait marriage and families and musicians on both sides of the strait.
Compatriots from 26 provinces in the mainland and Taiwan and Hong Kong actively participated, and finally composed a touching melody of "the two sides of the strait are one family", which truly aroused the emotional resonance of compatriots on both sides of the strait. (End)
