E-scooter (symbolic image): Riding in pairs on a scooter is prohibited

Two people on an e-scooter have died after an accident with a car in Saarbrücken. The two people rode together on a scooter and are said to have collided with the car for reasons that have not yet been clarified. The accident occurred on Tuesday evening in the city center, said a police spokesman.
One person died at the scene of the accident. Another person later succumbed to their injuries in a hospital. The police did not initially provide any information on the identity of the victims, as one person had not yet been fully identified. According to initial findings, however, it is said to be a woman and a man. It is forbidden to ride an e-scooter in pairs.
