Aurélien won the twelfth season of "The Voice" last Saturday after three months of intense competition. The talent of Zazie, a real-life storekeeper, left her job to live this extraordinary adventure. Always on his little cloud, the singer, who has chained the interviews, agreed to answer our questions. Confidences.

Aurélien is always on his little cloud... On Saturday night, the 34-year-old storekeeper with the tenor voice, was crowned the winner of the twelfth season of The Voice. Zazie's talent won the famous TF1 singing competition against her comrade Micha, singer of Amel Bent's team, by accumulating 68.3% of the public's votes. Three days after winning the contest, Aurélien answered our questions with great humility. Interview.

Three days after your victory, do you realize what happened to you?

I'm starting to go down a bit but I still can't sleep. There, I finally leave Paris to go home so it will get better. I will be able to recharge my batteries in my cocoon, with my wife and daughters.

You thought it was Micha, also qualified for the super final, who was going to win...

Just before the results, I told myself that what I had imagined was happening. In the end, the public chose me, but Micha also deserved to win. I can't say what made the difference, maybe the course, because I don't fit into the boxes. But I've never experienced The Voice as a competition. I took things as they came without setting myself the goal of winning.

How did you feel when Nikos Aliagas said your name?

It was very strange because I felt like I was a spectator of the event. I had a vision of the child watching TV and hearing the winner's name. But this time it was my name and I'm not a kid at all (Laughter).

On Saturday night, you performed Casser la voix in duet with Patrick Bruel. How did it go with him?

It was a great moment. I met him three hours before the show and we did one rehearsal. The current passed directly. I was all smiles because I was happy to meet him. He told me not to forget to put anger in this song. On stage, something very strong happened.

During the evening, Zazie also mentioned the insulting messages, especially about your physique, that you received on social networks. Does it affect you?

I've never read these messages because I don't have Twitter. On the other hand, I had already been told about it but I prefer not to dwell on it. It doesn't matter. What matters is this magnificent adventure that I have just lived.

You quit your job to devote yourself to singing. Today, you are the winner of The Voice. A new life begins for you but also your family. What does your wife think?

For now, nothing will start, we will go down a little. After that, we will have to find a balance. It is absolutely essential for me to see my wife and children every week, even when I go on tour.

Are you thinking of moving to Paris when the round trips become too restrictive?

We discussed it with my wife and we are on the same page: it is out of the question to grow up our daughters in a big city with a stressful pace. They are much better in the countryside!

Next year, you will participate in the Zenith tour of 500 singers who will cover songs by Freddie Mercury. Do you dread this moment?

Yes, a little bit because I will be away from my loved ones. But I'm also super excited to sing for the people who supported me in my adventure The Voice.

As for your first album, Zazie said she would love to write for you...

Yes, and it touched me enormously. I forged a very strong bond with her. I find it really inspiring. He is a simple and sensitive person. We have exchanged phone numbers and we will stay in touch.
