In an interview with "Télé 7 Jours" on the occasion of the release of "Charlotte", her new eponymous single from her upcoming album, Vitaa revealed that she would put her career on hold after her tour. At 40, the singer wants to "be less in the light" and spend more time with her children.

Almost four years after the success of VersuS, her duet album with her accomplice Slimane, Vitaa is back with Charlotte, a solo opus that will be released on October 6. A real challenge for the star who finds himself alone with immense pressure on his shoulders: the success of his album. "I'll be honest with you, I felt a huge pressure to be alone again, especially after such success. It's as if I was starting from scratch, "said the interpreter of My sister, in the columns of Télé 7 Jours.

"I give myself like never before on this record"

Filled with fear of disappointing her audience, Vitaa managed to let go. "The songs allowed me to relax, as I created them. I give myself like never before on this record. I arrive at a point in my career where I want to empty my bag, to then, after this album, be less in the light, "explained the artist to Télé 7 Jours. After the release of her solo album, whose singles Charlotte and Les choses qu'on fait are already available, Vitaa will take a well-deserved break. Unfortunately for his fans, it could well be that Charlotte is his latest solo opus...

"I want to be more in the shadows"

"I don't close any doors. I don't think there will be any more solo albums after this one. In any case, not two or three, "said the star to Télé 7 Jours. "I want to write for others, I love it. Maybe there will be projects with other artists. But alone, I'm not sure...", added Vitaa who also wants to spend more time with her three children, who suffer when she leaves for a long time. "I want, with age too, to be more in the shadows. I thrive like that too...", concluded the singer who lays herself bare in her new album Charlotte, which bears her real name.
