As the number of children and students who took their own lives in one year last year reached a record high, the bereaved families of children requested the government to establish a system to investigate the causes of each and prevent recurrence.

The request was made by bereaved families who had lost their children in suicide and had been seeking prevention of recurrence, claiming that they had received inappropriate guidance.

On the 29th, we submitted a request to the Children and Family Agency and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and held a press conference.

Last year, the number of children and students who committed suicide reached a record high of 1, and the national government is holding meetings of related ministries and agencies, mainly the Children and Family Agency, to consider countermeasures.

Under these circumstances, the bereaved families stated that "about 514% of suicide investigations by the national government say that the cause is unknown every year, and the actual situation is not sufficiently grasped," and ▽ Collect information from multiple perspectives to determine the cause, ▽ Establish a system of third-party investigations that maintains speed, neutrality, objectivity,
and
transparency. We are requesting that this be linked to the prevention of recurrence.

Kenzo Kato, who committed suicide six years ago after his then 6-year-old son was subjected to strict guidance, said, "There is a possibility that a third party may have cornered us, but at first, no institution investigated it.

Ten years ago, a woman who lost her 10-year-old brother said, "When he died, I thought that adults would take action, but that was not the case.
