Urumqi, May 5 (Zhongxin Net) -- Recently, a realistic version of "bear haunting" was staged in the homes of herdsmen in Xinjiang, and the local police urgently rescued the "Xiong Da" out of the herdsmen's courtyard six hours later.

At about 5:26 on May 11, the Bayinbrook Police Station of the Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture and Jing County Public Security Bureau in Xinjiang received a call for help from Nur Polati, a herder in the spring pasture of the Amurgol branch in its jurisdiction, saying that a brown bear suddenly broke into his yard and asked for rescue.

When the police arrived at the scene, they found that the brown bear was "loitering" in the yard, and an injured horse was huddled in a corner of the yard and trembling.

A police officer at the Bayinbrook Police Station of the Hejing County Public Security Bureau in Xinjiang said: "The big brown bear went to the sheepfold and scratched the horse. We set off firecrackers to drive it away. ”

Because brown bears are very aggressive, in order to protect the safety of people's lives and property, the police lured them to the corner of the yard by knocking on the iron basin to make a sound, and at the same time, evacuated the surrounding herders to a safe area.

From a mobile phone video shot at the scene, the brown bear saw that there were rescue police rushing over, and suddenly climbed from the sheepfold of the herdsman to the roof and chased the police, and one of the police officers was almost injured by the brown bear. Under the condition of taking protective measures, the police found a commanding point to observe the dynamics of brown bears, and at the same time, in the principle of protection, for the purpose of expulsion, they constantly used car horns, knocked iron basins to make sounds, and used firecrackers to drive brown bears. After six hours of hard work, the police finally drove the brown bear out of the herdsman's yard.

It is understood that except for a horse injured in the herdsman's family, the presence of the brown bear caused no other damage and no casualties.

Nur Polati, a herder from Amur Gol Pasture in Bayinbrook Township, Hejing County, Bazhou and Jing County, Xinjiang, said: "There was a big bear in the sheepfold, we were very scared at that time, we called the Bayinbrook police station, the police arrived in time to drive him away, and the people were fine, and we are very grateful to the police for their help."

It is understood that at present, brown bears have returned to nature. (End)
