Moritz Eisner (Harald Krassnitzer) and Bibi Fellner (Adele Neuhauser): Targeting the Mafia

Photo: Darryl Oswald / ORF / ARD

The scenario:

Alone against the mafia. The young Azra (Mariam Hage) is infiltrated into a powerful Georgian clan, as a bodyguard she is supposed to pass on information from the godfather's environment to Eisner (Harald Krassnitzer) and Fellner (Adele Neuhauser). Soon it will no longer be entirely clear who is acting against whom.

The highlight:

Naked violence and clever trickery: This mafia thriller combines fight and murder scenes with an ambiguous plot in which the trickster quickly becomes tricked.

The dialogue:

Inspector Eisner meets informant Azra and demands reliable information from her.

Krassnitzer: "Excuse me, what kind of informant are you?"

V-woman: "Oh, go shit, that's what Brunner said, too."

Krassnitzer: "What did you say to her?"

V-woman: "Yes, that I want to go higher. If I somehow want to get into the Datviani bodyguard, then I can start delivering."

Krassnitzer: "Yes, and?"

V-woman: "You know the armchair farts there – too high a risk! Better slowly and surely, blahblahblah."

The picture:

Head nut for the king's child. In order to offer herself as a bodyguard for the Georgian mafia boss, Azra puts on a martial arts performance in the martial arts studio. She competes against the godfather's ostentatious son in order to officially dismantle him. In the end, the bones crack.

The rating:

9 out of 10 points. Killer performance by Mariam Hage as a bodyguard and avenging angel – this »crime scene« delivers wedges with style and sophistication.
