Xining, May 5 (Zhongxin Net) -- This reporter learned from the Guoluo Prefecture Public Security Bureau in Qinghai Province on 22 May that a few days ago, the Lajia Police Station of the Maqin County Public Security Bureau of Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture received a field rescue police report sent by the command center, and three people were trapped in the Yellow River Canyon of the Yangyu Pastoral Committee of Lajia Town, and self-help was fruitless, and requested rescue.

Due to the growing dark, the complicated terrain on the mountain, the low temperature, and other unstable security factors, if not rescued in time, it may endanger the lives of the trapped people. After receiving the police, the Laga Police Station immediately dispatched capable police forces carrying field rescue equipment and quickly went to the location of the alarmist to carry out search and rescue.

In order to accurately determine the location of the policeman and choose the best rescue route, after continuous attempts, the police successfully contacted the informant, obtained the identity information of the trapped person and photos of the surrounding environment, and will contact the herdsmen who are familiar with the terrain to go to the rescue together.

After a six-hour drive, a 6-member rescue team composed of the Lajia Police Station, the Maqin County Fire Rescue Brigade, the staff of the Lajia Town Government and the people of the Pastoral Committee arrived at the foot of the mountain where the trapped people were located and began to hike up the mountain to search and rescue.

Finally, after seven hours of searching on foot, the rescue team found three trapped people halfway up the Yellow River Gorge in the Aga Qing area of the Yangyu Pastoral Committee. Due to the lack of food supplies for a long time, coupled with the low temperature in the mountain, the three people shivered due to the lack of physical strength caused by cold and hunger, and rescuers provided clothes and food to keep the three warm and hungry. After preliminary inspection at the scene, none of the trapped persons were injured.

It is understood that the three set out from the camp in the morning to collect cordyceps, and because they were unfamiliar with the terrain, they got lost in the mountains and forests and were trapped. After a short rest, the rescuers led the trapped people to hike down the mountain from the safe route, and successfully sent the trapped people to the cordyceps digging camp, and told the camp leader to do a good job in personnel safety education and management.

Maqin Public Security reminds that cordyceps diggers must pay attention to their own safety when digging for cordyceps, keep abreast of weather conditions, and do not go to ravines that are unfamiliar with the situation privately to avoid being trapped due to emergencies and even threatening their lives. If you encounter any danger, you should call 110 or 119 for help as soon as possible. (End)
