A few days after an attack on an Iraqi girl in the Saxon town of Meissen, investigators have identified a 42-year-old suspect. The woman is accused of assault and insult, police said.

Accordingly, the incident occurred last Tuesday afternoon. According to the investigation, the woman attacked the 14-year-old "abruptly". She tore off her headscarf and pushed her to the ground. In addition, she had beaten the minor and racially insulted her. The identity of the attacker was not initially known.

Contact with the girl's school

The state security had been called in, the patrol activity around the crime scene had been increased. In addition, the police had made contact with the school, according to their own statements.

As part of the investigation, it was possible to identify the alleged perpetrator.
