The Hotel Arts enters through the eyes and is enjoyed with the five senses. It was installed in the skyline of Barcelona back in the 1992 Olympics and still watches over the city today with its imposing structure, designed by Colombian architect Bruce Graham. It boasts of being the tallest building in the city, with permission from the Sagrada Familia, which when the works are finished will hold this title. Luxury of height bathed by the Mediterranean.

Art, gastronomy, wellness and a lot of relaxation, the stay is lived from many different perspectives. Actually, the Arts hosts three hotels in one. From the second floor to the 29th, where the standard rooms and executive suites are located; from 30 to 33, where access to the Club Lounge is added to these rooms, a space where you can always eat something, with comfortable armchairs to rest and tables for those who have to work. From the 34th to the 38th floor, you will find the penthouses, the best kept secret of this Barcelona icon; Duplex spaces -between 150 square meters and 400- with all the comforts of a five star.

Among the attentions that make the difference, they have direct access, their own reception and butler service. The views are priceless. In the origins of the hotel it was thought to sell them, but finally it was decided to incorporate them into the offer. These rooms have hosted personalities from all walks of life: music stars, actors, international leaders...

Because if something defines the day to day of this hotel is the team, always attentive and willing to help to make the stay special. The breakfast, one of the best -in variety and quality- of Barcelona, is savored based on fresh fruit and smoothies made to order, sausages from the area, pancakes and an exquisite pastries. The day can continue with a treatment in the spa, located on the 43rd floor; a massage in one of its cabins or a few minutes in its sauna overlooking the city. Its outdoor pool, always lively, and the infinity pool make a dip a must.

Design space in the Catalan hotel.

The walk through the hotel is dressed in art. The owners have distributed more than 500 works throughout the rooms of the Arts. To this is added the collaboration with We collect, with space on the ground floor and a signed suite (the Arts Suite) that serves as a showcase for artists and a unique experience for customers. If art has not fed the soul enough, it is time to come to the Marina Coastal Club to try their guacamole, their fish, their steak tartare or one of their salads. Reserve for dinner, yes, it promises.

Paco Pérez's gastronomic, Enoteca (two Michelin stars), invites you to travel along the Catalan coast, sea and mountains with fresh and local products. A choral experience from beginning to end that leaves in the retina dishes such as The sea remembering Gaudí or the lobster in his Bolognese. The height of the Arts is appreciated in each of the experiences offered by the hotel, which is squeezed from morning to night.

THE NEW EPHEMERAL 'JAPO'

In the agenda of the Arts there are always appetizing plans in sight. The next: the Roka Barcelona -based in London and Istanbul-, which opens from today and only for five months with its prestigious Japanese cuisine robatayaki. The brand, created by Rainer Becker, is committed to embers and local and seasonal products. Do not miss trying The Pantry, a speakeasy concept with a brief but very executed menu where the Barcelona culture is valued.
