A total of 16 entries will compete during Thursday's semi-final. Of those, ten go directly to the final and for the rest the competition is over already tonight.
One of the evening's contestants is the artist Blanka from Poland. Within the country, many fans are critical of how the choice of artist was made and believe that their own competition was rigged when they did not report the final score.
On social media, comments such as: "Blanka is not Poland's choice" and "Our country has not chosen this song" are spreading. It is difficult to know if the competition was rigged as there is no evidence of it, but it has been one of the big talking points before the semi-finals.
