In a robbery case in which masked men broke into a luxury watch store in Ginza, Tokyo, interviews with investigators revealed that immediately after entering the store, one of the perpetrators threatened the clerk with a knife, while the other two broke the showcase with a crowbar and stole the goods. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the fact that they broke into the store after deciding in advance the division of roles, such as threatening the clerk and robbing of products.

On the 8th of this month, several men wearing white masks broke into a luxury watch store in Ginza, Tokyo, threatened the clerk with a knife, stole the merchandise, and fled by car.

According to those involved in the investigation, more than 70 watches and other items were stolen, and the total damage amounted to about 2 million yen, all of which were found in and around the abandoned car after the escape.

The Metropolitan Police Department has arrested four people between the ages of 5000 and 16 on suspicion of breaking into an apartment building near the place where they abandoned their car, and are investigating their connection to the robbery.

Previous investigations have shown that there were three perpetrators who repeatedly robbed the store for two minutes, but interviews with investigators revealed that immediately after entering the store, one of them threatened the clerk with a knife, while the other two broke the glass showcase with a crowbar and stole the goods.

One of the people who threatened the clerk also joined in the robbery of the goods.

After that, another one called out to the other members, "It's still okay, you can go 19 seconds," and this perpetrator ended the crime and left the store first.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the fact that they broke into the store with a predetermined division of roles such as threatening store staff, robbing products, and time management, and is investigating the suspicion that the four people arrested were also involved in the robbery.
