Three baby penguins born about six months ago made their debut at an aquarium in Kyoto City, and they are showing their adorable appearance in the exhibition space.

The Kyoto Aquarium in Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, keeps about 60 Cape penguins that live off the coast of South Africa, and three cubs were born from November to December last year.

His weight, which was only 11 grams when he was born, has now increased to 12 grams, which is close to that of an adult penguin, and was revealed to the press ahead of his debut in the exhibition space.

Two of the three birds immediately showed off how to swim in the pool, but perhaps surprised by the unusual atmosphere, they jumped in and got out of the water in seconds.

After that, one bird received his favorite "mackerel" and ate it energetically.

The personalities of the three birds are different: spoiled, strong-minded, and curious.

This is the first time in five years that a child penguin has debuted at Kyoto Aquarium, so from now on he will be spending time with adult penguins.

Takuya Kameoka of the Kyoto Aquarium Exhibition and Breeding Team said, "I want them to grow up healthy without major injuries."
