As an experiential consumption, travel photography meets people's needs to record beautiful moments of travel and is gradually loved by consumers. This year, the tourism market has ushered in a large-scale recovery, which has led to the increasingly strong demand for travel photography. A number of travel photographers said that orders have increased significantly since the beginning of the Spring Festival, especially young people, white-collar workers and students, who are very willing to hire follow-up photographers.

For travel photography services, different scenic spots have different requirements.

At 9 a.m., the number of tourists in Beijing's Temple of Heaven Park gradually increased, and Mr. Liu, a photographer who has been engaged in tourist photography of attractions for many years, was taking pictures of customers. He said that although mobile phones are now getting better and better, some consumers are still willing to pay for higher quality photos and more professional shooting services. "We often shoot at various attractions, and we know the route and know where the light is good, which can shorten the shooting time for customers, and be more professional and efficient." He said.

"As soon as you enter the Forbidden City, you can see a lot of 'Gege' taking pictures." Recently, Ms. Cheng specially purchased a travel photography service, and while taking her daughter, who had just entered elementary school, to visit the Forbidden City, she dressed up and took a set of costume photos for her daughter. She said that she had been to the Forbidden City before, because there were many tourists here, and the photos taken were often cluttered. In contrast, travel photographers are more experienced, know when to go in and where to shoot less people, and also provide post-retouching, which is good.

It is understood that for scenic spots, travel photography has increased the flow of passengers and popularity to a certain extent, and enriched the content of tourism services. Some scenic spots clearly welcome travel photography and provide various services, and some scenic spots have also launched special travel photography mini programs to attract tourists.

However, the excessive concentration of commercial travel photography has also affected the normal play experience of some tourists, which in turn has led to the clear suspension of travel photography in some popular scenic spots.

"Sorry, I can't go to Universal Studios for the time being." During the "May Day" holiday, the customer service of many online travel and shooting studios gave the same reply. A few days ago, Universal Studios Beijing said that if tourists take photos and videos normally and use them for private or non-commercial purposes, they are still allowed, and if they are used for commercial purposes, they are prohibited. In this way, even if you have an annual pass, commercial photographers may be prohibited from entering the park, and you may be invited out of the park at any time to shoot in the park.

The customer service contact center of Universal Studios Beijing explained that in order to achieve better shooting results, some commercial travel photographers and Internet celebrity bloggers occupied some tourist attractions for a long time, so that others could not take photos normally, which affected the normal order of scenic spots, so they had to explicitly prohibit travel photography services. If tourists take photos by themselves, whether they are taken by mobile phones or cameras, the scenic area staff will not interfere.

The "Notice to Shanghai Disneyland Guests" also clearly states that guests are not allowed to bring photographic equipment, video equipment, floor tripods, stability brackets and related tools that may hinder the operation of the Park and any ancillary facilities. Activities that may not be engaged in include photography, videography, recording, or live broadcasting, except for personal use and non-commercial purposes.

Most visitors understand this. "I was thinking of finding a photographer to follow, but no one dared to take it." Xiao Chen, a college student from Chongqing, came to Universal Studios Beijing for the first time. She has some regrets about the ban on travel photography, because she and her friends are not very good at taking pictures. However, she understands this measure, since Universal Studios banned travel photography, popular photo check-in places no longer need to queue up for photos, saving time to better enjoy the amusement facilities in the park. "Come out to play, the most important thing is to have fun." She said.

Mr. Liu was one of the first photographers to provide travel photography services in the scenic area after the opening of Universal Studios Beijing. He recalled that at some festivals last year, almost 1/3 of the people in Universal Studios were photographers, and at that time he felt that it would not work in the long run, which would affect the normal visitors and cause obvious interference to the scenic spot. He said that Beijing's travel photography service has now shifted to other scenic spots with larger filming locations. "Photographers are not only taking pictures of tourists, but most importantly can explore life and spread culture from different perspectives. Scenic spots such as the Temple of Heaven and Qianmen have a large range of filming locations, high efficiency in filming, and less hindering other tourists, which are very popular. ”

In the eyes of the industry, travel photography provides a more diversified and fresh experience, but when it becomes a commercial behavior, it is necessary to gradually clarify the boundaries in practice and abide by specific rules and orders, which will be conducive to the long-term healthy development of this emerging consumption.
