At the time, Angèle was convinced by a journalist to pose for Playboy. She assures him: the editorial line of the magazine has changed, women are no longer presented as sexual objects. "She offers me something that seems pretty nice to me," Angele recalls. "And when it came time to talk about the photos, I had a picture where I was holding two vegetables in front of my breasts and we were like, 'This picture, let's not take it out.'" Angèle hammers it: this shot is not part of the selection. A few days later, it's the cold shower for Angèle: "And now the photo ends up in the Playboy without my consent...", says the singer, who was not even 25 years old at the time. " I feel used, I feel sexualized without my knowledge, I spend days crying at home telling myself that I was fooled and that I was stupid, "says Angèle.
