Since 2023:5 on May 3, 12, three earthquakes of magnitude 08 or higher have occurred in Dadam Miao Nationality Township, Xingwen County, Yibin City, with the highest magnitude of 3.4. After the 4.9 magnitude earthquake, the Yibin Earthquake Relief Headquarters launched a level IV emergency response, and the public security, emergency, transportation, housing, natural resources and planning bureaus and other departments quickly sent working groups to the earthquake area to carry out emergency response work. At the same time, enterprises in high-risk industries such as coal mines and non-coal mines immediately stopped production and withdrew personnel.

Affected by the earthquake, tourists in Yibin Xingwenshi Seascape Area have been safely evacuated, the scenic area has been temporarily closed, and hidden danger investigation work is being carried out. At the same time, Xingwen County launched the earthquake emergency level III. response, and the relevant departments of the local government rushed to the scene to command and deal with it.
