Lhasa, May 5 (Zhongxin Net) (Li Lin) After participating in the work for more than ten years, Gao Qiansheng, winner of the 4th "China Youth May Fourth Medal" and director of Amdo Workshop of China Railway 27th Bureau Group Railway Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd., has been fighting on the front line of Qinghai-Tibet Railway maintenance all year round, leading the team to overcome various maintenance and rectification problems caused by frost damage of Qinghai-Tibet Railway and ensure the safe operation of trains.

74 kilometers of perennial frozen soil and 72 kilometers of uninhabited land, this is the pipe section that Gao Qiansheng and his colleagues are responsible for. The average altitude here is 4700 meters, the lowest temperature is minus 47 degrees, and there are more than 8 winds of 70 degrees per year... The section between Tanggula South Station and Liantonghe Station of Qinghai-Tibet Railway is the pipe section with the greatest difficulty in maintenance, the most diseases and the worst natural environment of the whole line.

The most important problem for the 146 km pipe section is frost damage. To this end, Gao Qiansheng assigned 74 kilometers of frozen soil lines to work areas and responsibilities to people, observed the actual changes in all-weather lines, carried out targeted maintenance operations according to the changes, and recorded the process of each operation in detail.

With a large number of first-hand data, Gao Qiansheng further "sought medical treatment". He proposed protective reinforcement measures such as earthen reverents, hot rods, sheet stone slope protection and dry road shoulders, which reduced and curbed the conduction, convection and radiation of external heat from the roadbed, promoted the stability of track equipment, and ensured the safety and smooth flow of driving.

From 2020 to 2022, Gao Qiansheng combined the actual situation of the workshop and line, fully used the waveform analysis of rail inspection vehicles to accurately guide maintenance operations, used the problem bank list mode to ensure the comprehensive management of equipment, comprehensively promoted accurate measurement to guide maintenance operations, and implemented a four-year comprehensive maintenance plan for roadbed and ancillary equipment. The implementation of a series of measures has successfully solved the problem that the quality of line equipment cannot be effectively improved due to the change of frozen soil subgrade, and effectively guaranteed the driving safety of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway.

Gao Qiansheng also found that the current disease rectification methods of bridges and tunnels are backward, the production efficiency is not high, and there is a lack of inspection and detection methods for early detection of disease phenomena. Based on his own experience in bridge and tunnel maintenance management, he organized a seminar to determine the measures for comprehensively improving bridge and tunnel maintenance, and effectively improved the overall strength of bridge and tunnel maintenance through six months of promotion.

Lying on the rails to check the disease of the line, going to and from Tanggulananan, Zaga Zangpo and other places at an altitude of more than 5000,<> meters to check and guide the operation... Over the years, Gao Qiansheng led the team to overcome various maintenance and rectification problems of frost damage of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, completed the construction tasks of key projects such as the comprehensive rectification project of culvert subsidence in the frozen soil section of the Qinghai-Tibet Line, and the disaster prevention project of the tunnel of the Qinghai-Tibet Line, creating a miracle of the maintenance of the world's plateau frozen soil railway.

The voice whistling beside him told Gao Qiansheng that another train passed through the district. The natural conditions here are harsh, and it is not easy to be a good "sky road nanny". "It is our duty and mission to ensure the safe operation of trains and the unimpeded operation of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway." Gao Qiansheng said. (End)
