The competition was divided into five different age groups, namely Toddler Group (4-6 years old), Junior A Group (6-9 years old), Junior B (9-12 years old), Junior C (12-15 years old) and Youth Group (15-18 years old), and dance institutions were encouraged to participate in the competition in the form of group dance works. The Professional Competition is open to ballet students aged 14-18 from all nationalities around the world. It is divided into professional A (14-16 years old) and professional B group (16-18 years old).

In order to create a youth ballet competition with international influence, this competition invites well-known experts in the field of ballet at home and abroad to form a judging committee to create a fair, just and open competition environment and ensure the professionalism and authority of the competition. International players who cannot participate in the offline competition can participate in the preliminary round through online video, domestic players will participate in the preliminary round in each division, and the finalists who win the preliminary round will participate in the final held in Beijing; The finalists will have the opportunity to be invited to participate in the celebration performance and award party of the 2nd AIILEAN International Youth Ballet Competition held in Beijing. Contestants of the appropriate age who perform well in the competition will have the opportunity to study at the Central Ballet Dance School; Or have the opportunity to obtain an internship place with the Central Ballet. The non-professional group will set up the first, second and third prizes according to the preschool group, junior A group, junior B group, junior C group and youth group.
