In the face of the diversion of inter-provincial tourism, hotels in the suburbs of Beijing are also looking for new highlights, and attract traffic through parent-child activities and linkage scenic spots.

Some rejoice, others worry

During this year's "May Day" holiday, some Beijing suburban resort markets did not have the hot scene of the past three years.

According to the Ctrip App, the room rate of the Deluxe City View Twin Room at the Sunrise Kempinski Hotel Beijing on April 4 (the first day of the May Day holiday) was 29,3018 yuan per night, while the room rate of the same room type on April 4, also on Saturday, was 22,2552 yuan per night, an increase of only 18%. Also one of the popular resort hotels in the suburbs of Beijing, Beijing Bay Banshan Hot Spring Hotel, the "May Day" holiday booking is not as hot as in previous years. According to the Ctrip App, the hotel's premium and vitality private soup room price on April 4 was 29,5598 yuan per night, while the price of the same room type on April 4 was 22,4098 yuan per night, an increase of about 37%. On the eve of last year's "May Day" holiday, the price of this room type increased to about 6000,<> yuan a night. Overall, this year's booking popularity of Beijing Bay Banshan Hot Spring Hotel is not as hot as before.

According to Ctrip's App, the room rate of the hotel's Lejing Superior View King Room was 85,4 yuan per night on April 29 and 2467,4 yuan per night on April 22, an increase of 1587%. In the past three years, the hotel's holiday rate has been almost double that of usual.

According to Ctrip's data, as of April 4, more than 6% of orders for long-distance travel on May Day were registered, and long-term travel orders increased by 811% year-on-year. From the perspective of growth rate, the year-on-year growth rate of local tour orders on May Day was relatively small.
