After the release of her documentary "Pamela, a love story", available on Netflix since February, Pamela Anderson arrives in bookstores Wednesday, April 19, 2023 with her memoirs entitled "Love, Pamela", which Europe 1 was able to read. The American-Canadian star confides in particular about her difficult break with footballer Adil Rami, who "betrayed" her.

Pamela Anderson continues to reclaim her story. After releasing a documentary on Netflix last February, the star of the TV series Alert in Malibu, sex symbol of the 1990s, unveils Love, Pamela, his memoirs that will be published by Talent editions Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Europe 1 was able to read a preview of his autobiography, a sincere and singular work, interspersed with poems.

Pamela Anderson was sexually assaulted by her babysitter

Pamela Anderson confides in open heart about her difficult childhood, marked by her father's violence against her mother. The star also talks about one of the greatest traumas of her life: the sexual abuse inflicted on her by her nanny, when she was between six and ten years old.

The star then tells his meteoric rise thanks to his appearances in Playboy magazine and then in the hit series Alert in Malibu. In love with love, married and divorced many times, Pamela Anderson could not ignore her many love stories. Among them: the one with French footballer Adil Rami, which lasted from May 2017 to June 2019.

"He gave me fiery compliments"

In his memoirs, the star remembers their meeting in Monaco. "Arriving at the hotel, I met a handsome, tall, dark man. He showered me with fiery compliments as soon as he realized who I was. He introduced himself as a professional football player, then offered that we have a drink later in his room," writes Pamela Anderson who had an immediate crush on Adil Rami. When the footballer bent down to pour my champagne, I could smell his cologne. I was already under the spell," says the actress.

Pamela Anderson had settled in the south of France to be alongside the former Olympique de Marseille player. She took advantage of this moment to participate in the French edition of the show Danse avec les stars. " Adil was my lover during my year in France. It ended in betrayal," the star says in his memoir. She concludes with a poem: "Another lesson / But it's part of the game / The truth is unpleasant / Let's spare the children."

A "toxic" relationship

This is not the first time that Pamela Anderson has spoken about her break with the footballer. In June 2019, at the time of their separation, she shared a lengthy message on Instagram, describing a toxic relationship that had exhausted her. "I feel used. Betrayed and hurt. But I should have known about it. Jealousy. Emotional and physical torture. All this was a mirror of his own actions," she said. Pamela Anderson had discovered that her partner was leading a double life and was still dating her ex, Sidonie Biemont, the mother of her twins.

"It's hard to accept. The last two years of my life were a lie. I was ripped off, I was led to believe that it was 'the great love'. I am devastated to learn that during these last days, he was living a double life. He used to make fun of players who had a girlfriend in apartments downstairs near their wives. He called these men monsters? But it's worse. He lied about everything," said the star, who called Adil Rami a "monster" and a "sociopath".

After her breakup with Adil Rami, Pamela Anderson married Jon Peters. Their union ended in divorce. A year after their split, the star said "yes" to Dan Hayhurst, her bodyguard. They announced that they wanted a divorce thirteen months later.
