Exceptional guest of the morning of Europe 1 on the eve of the release of the film in cinemas, Dany Boon first shares his desire to play again alongside his sidekick Kad Merad. It had been nine years since the two comedians had been in the same film. "I wrote with Kad in mind, I wanted to find him," he told Dimitri Pavlenko.

"Every time I write, I tell myself that we have such chemistry. He is a very generous person, an immensely talented and very funny actor, with an innate sense of rhythm, an ability to make people laugh that is crazy, "says Dany Boon, very complimentary to his partner. "We've done duets that have proven themselves."

Dany Boon "very touched" to share the poster with Charlotte Gainsbourg

If the actor-director immediately thought of Kad Merad, this was not really the case for Charlotte Gainsbourg... "I thought of her after she sent me a message to tell me that she would like to tour with me," he told Europe 1. "She had just seen my last film in which plays Yvan Attal, her companion ('8 rue de l'Humanité', 2021), and she told me that she liked it a lot and that she would like to shoot with me," says the actor.
