Violinist Maria Andreeva, in an interview with RIA Novosti, stressed that patriotic music should be played at Russian venues, including those reflecting the current political situation.

"Now there are many wonderful poets writing about current events ... New pieces of music began to appear. I think we need to create new platforms with our new music. It will undoubtedly supplant the old, alien, unnecessary to us. We just need to work in this direction, "says the artist.

Songwriter Alexander Antipov said that it is important to "promote good and correct music" and not to give an opportunity to spread the work of "anti-Russian musicians."

The initiative was also supported by the poet and producer Vadim Tsyganov.

"If they remove our songs, then we must close the anti-Russian ... We are going against fascism and Satanism. We stand for universal values: family, love and God," the commentary says.

Earlier, MP Dmitry Gusev also stated the need to develop a bill that will regulate the blogosphere.
