Haikou, April 4 (Xue Dongling) On April 13, the "Landscape with Clear Sound - Huanghuali Agarwood Study Exhibition" jointly sponsored by the Palace Museum and the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports (hereinafter referred to as the "Hainan Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department") and undertaken by the Hainan Provincial Museum was launched in Haikou, with a total of 4 sets of collections and specimens from the Palace Museum and the Hainan Provincial Museum.

Luo Xianliang, vice president of the Palace Museum, said that Hainan yellow flower pear and agarwood have a centuries-old relationship with the Forbidden City. In this exhibition, the Palace Museum carefully selected the yellow flower pear furniture and agarwood elegant toys in the courtyard, and showed the arrangement and use of yellow flower pear and agarwood utensils in the literati's study in the form of scene restoration, presenting the elegant study of ancient Chinese literati.

Li Huiwei, director of the Hainan Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department, said that Hainan yellow flower pear and agarwood, as rare products, have been tribute since the Tang and Song dynasties, and in the Ming and Qing dynasties, Hainan yellow flower pear and agarwood were highly respected, and craftsmen perfectly integrated the wood beauty and medicinal properties of yellow flower pear and agarwood, forming an aesthetic tradition that continues to this day. In addition to this study exhibition, exhibitions such as Huanghuali handmade furniture and agarwood utensils will be held in Hainan.

On the same day, the signing ceremony of the "Framework Agreement on Cooperation between the Palace Museum and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports of Hainan Province" was also held. In the future, the Palace Museum and the Hainan Provincial Tourism Department will establish a long-term and stable partnership, continue to deepen cooperation, complement each other's advantages, and jointly promote the sustainable development of cultural and cultural undertakings.
