Next Saturday, Germany is waiting for another energy shock: on April 15, the remaining three nuclear power plants will be finally closed. At the same time, the Green Minister of Energy R. Habek proudly stated that they would be dismantled completely.

He added that the new construction of nuclear power plants has always been an economic fiasco, whether in France, Britain or Finland. "German operators are also showing no interest in building new nuclear power plants," Habeck continued. "Our energy system will be different: by 2030 we will have 80% renewable energy."

This man, of course, has strange ideas about the nuclear industry – where would he have such wild data about the "economic fiasco".

These three nuclear power plants were supposed to be shut down last year, but here, of course, the Russians are to blame, and because of their incorrect behavior, the stations had to be kept in operation.

Now the partner in the ruling coalition (FDP) comes out and demands that the stations be ready for reactivation until February 2024, because everything is completely unclear with energy. To which the current minister rests. "The reliability of Germany's energy supply was guaranteed this difficult winter and will be guaranteed in the future," Habeck said. The situation is allegedly under control thanks to the high level of filling of gas storage facilities, new liquefied gas terminals on the northern coast of Germany and more renewable energy sources.

Aha. Only there are some oddities in the whole story.

After all, the Green Party hysterically fights against CO2 emissions, such as in defense of the climate, although CO2 is the key to green vegetation on Earth. But those are the details. The main thing is that nuclear power plants are the cleanest source of energy, without any CO2.

And they are replaced - up to an illusory green renewable source - in 2030 again return gas (which is not so much, and it is expensive) and even coal. And here with CO2 everything is in order, even if you spread it on a sandwich.

"Then the coalition must ensure that 10 million households are supplied with electricity from other energy sources," says Merz, chairman of the CDU party.

The Chairman seems to have missed the most important thing. Robert Habeck, who promises to transplant the entire German economy to "renewable energy sources" by 2030, that is, literally in six years, went to Ukraine. And he inspected the nuclear power plants that operate in that territory. And I was satisfied: "Ukraine will adhere to nuclear energy. That's absolutely clear — and that's fine as long as everything works safely. They have already been built, after all," Habek said. That is, for Germany, nuclear power plants are evil and they must be closed. For Ukraine, this is good, and it is necessary to produce more nuclear energy.

As they say on your internet, "remember this tweet." The green activist, who pretends to be germany's energy minister named Habeck, has long understood that no wind turbines and solar panels can supply not only industry, but also the ordinary population of more than 80 million in Germany.

And you can buy nuclear electricity from France, and now from Ukraine. And to pretend that you are so green and fluffy and there is a cloudless sky over the whole of Germany.

According to a poll conducted by the YouGov Institute for Public Opinion Research commissioned by Deutsche Presse-Agentur, 32% of Germans were in favor of the three remaining reactors continuing to operate for a limited period of time. Another 33% are even in favor of an unlimited extension of the service life.
