The hypnotist adored by the French announces to launch a new challenge, and it is sizeable! After having hypnotized nearly 800 people, Messmer now intends to practice his art on an audience of 1,000 spectators. The sequence will be broadcast and presented by Arthur on TF1, in prime time this Friday evening.

Messmer is taking on a new challenge, having already hypnotized just under 900 people, a record! This time, no less than 1,000 people will be under the hypnotic influence of the Quebec artist, among a room welcoming even more spectators. The sequence will be broadcast this Friday evening on TF1 and presented by Arthur. But what exactly can we expect? The main interested party replied to Europe 1/Culture media: "In the crowd where there are 4,000 people, I will hypnotize as many people as possible in less than six minutes, to try to beat my world record which is 854 people in six minutes."

An ambitious project that Messmer has carefully prepared. "Throughout the evening, I will put people in condition to prepare them for this last experience. We have crazy numbers where people from the audience have the chance to participate on stage with us." This world record, which has already been filmed at the Dome of Paris with anonymous spectators, but also personalities, such as the model Baptiste Giabiconi.

Luckily Messmer was there...

Baptiste Giabiconi hypnotized in water at zero degrees!

The latter himself has experienced hypnosis, and in extreme conditions, to say the least, as Arthur describes in the sequence: "It's been 40 seconds now that he is in this water at zero degrees!" Messmer was proud to see the fruits of his work on celebrity. "No sensation in the body, not a chill. No goosebumps either", which does not fail to point out a detail to Arthur. "He points a little anyway," he laughs.

The experiment seems to have worked on his subject, which notes with a touch of irony: "The water is good, the water is very, very good. I invite you to come and accompany me if you feel like it, it's a treat." And when Europe 1/Culture médias asks Messmer if it is possible to hypnotize from a distance, he is cautious. "Listen, I prefer to be there to bring the experience to life. You may be a super sensitive subject to hypnosis. But afterwards, how would I bring you back to reality?" he asks, before explaining "I prefer not to try the experiment like that and be there to control everything that happens."
