There is still time not to stay at home during these vacation days. From Seville to San Sebastian, passing through Cádiz, Soria or Teruel, here are several express proposals.

PASSION IN CAPITAL LETTERS

There is no Holy Week without processions, vigils and via crucis. All of Spain vibrates these days to the beat of drums, steps and Nazarenes. From the majestic Madrugá of Seville to the procession of the Christ of the Insults of Zamora, the spontaneous arrows of Malaga or the procession of the Sacred Passion of the Redeemer of Valladolid, passing through the Silence of the Caladiños of Ferrol or that of the Holy Burial of Cuenca, with more than 30 steps that symbolize the passion, death and resurrection of Christ. Without forgetting the bands resounding through the streets of Palencia or the exhibition of the works of art that decorate the main altars of the churches of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, in Tenerife. Special mention deserves the break of the hour of Calanda (Teruel), whose Holy Week is declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest. On Good Friday at noon, thousands of people dressed in purple carry drums and bass drums to play in unison in the Plaza de España of the municipality.

WAH, MUSIC AND GASTRONOMY

It is one of the most successful leisure offers in the capital, so throw the house out the window to surprise even more at Easter, when WAH Madrid will open its doors from Saturday 1 to Sunday 9. It is a show divided into three acts that combines gastronomy, music and performances at the Ifema fairgrounds. There, attendees can enjoy, first of all, a full-fledged street food market, with Asian, Mexican, New York or Spanish food stalls, among others. The second act takes place at the WAH Theatre with a show that covers the best themes in the history of music with more than 40 artists on stage. For those who want more there is the Aftershow, designed for those who want to continue enjoying music and fun, with dj's, live performances and the best signature cocktails. SAETAS IN CÁDIZ

The most traditional Holy Week has many essential corners in our country. This year, one of them is Cádiz, which goes out for the first time as a festival declared of National Tourist Interest. With 52 steps and around 10,000 people in the processions, the party in the Tacita de Plata has many components of the Andalusian party: passion, music and color come together in this city of sea that became the main port of Spain with America. Hence, very valuable images are preserved. Another reason to live these days in Cádiz is Santa María, the flamenco neighborhood par excellence. Enjoying the return of the Nazarene to his own church in the early hours of Good Friday, when the sun begins to rise listening to how the arrows break the silence is a unique experience.

MASSAGES, BRUNCH AND SEA

The hotels show their best side during Holy Week, with endless proposals for accommodation, leisure and catering. This is the case of Marriott Bonvoy saplings scattered throughout Spain. As an example, The Westin Palace in the capital offers from April 3 to 9 snacks based on torrijas with coffee, tea or chocolate under the dome of La Rotonda. The Castillo Hotel Son Vida in Mallorca, meanwhile, offers special dinners, brunch with live music, massages and green fees on the Arabella Golf courses. The route continues with the Fire-Sleep-Fire package of W Barcelona, which includes accommodation with sea views, dinner for two people in its Fire restaurant, parking and breakfast. Those who prefer Marbella have The Westin La Quinta Resort & Spa, an oasis to enjoy golf or a family plan, since at Easter the second room has a 50% discount. Learn more at www.marriottbonvoy.com

RELAX IN THE SPA

Stop, breathe, submerge. Well-being often consists of simple actions. To dedicate yourself for once to yourself, body and mind, Castilla Termal has many of the keys. It is a Spanish chain of spa hotels in rehabilitated historic buildings and with a sustainable philosophy. Some examples? Its four stars in Burgo de Osma, located in the old University of Santa Catalina, in an emblematic building of the sixteenth century converted into the first thermal hotel in the province of Soria. In addition to diving into mineral-medicinal and thermal waters under its Renaissance patio, the traveler has the possibility of relaxing in a space that recreates the wonderful Mozarabic hermitage of Casillas de Berlanga, we are in a privileged space to disconnect from the world between walls that emulate those valuable Romanesque frescoes considered the oldest in the country. FROM MALAGA TO SAN SEBASTIAN

The following proposal takes us to Malaga with the NH Hotel Group chain, which proposes to combine tradition with sun, beach and interesting prices during Easter. Its stronghold in the Andalusian city, the NH Málaga, is located just seven minutes walk from the famous Calle Larios, the commercial heart, and the Alameda Principal, an avenue where most of the brotherhoods pass during Holy Week. Location to enjoy these days. Not surprisingly, from the hotel you can see the procession of the Christ of Mena, known as the Good Death. For example, from its outdoor pool overlooking the city. The experience is completed with a culinary tribute at the Tablafina restaurant, specializing in light snacks, Andalusian dishes and local wines. We jump to the capital of Gipuzkoa. And specifically, the NH Collection San Sebastián Aranzazu, located in the neighborhood of Ondarreta, a few minutes from the homonymous beach. Its modern design combines perfectly with the Kukuarri restaurant, run by chef Martín Aristondo and focused on local cuisine with Basque roots and quality raw materials.
