I have never seen such a powerful fortification of defensive work. To be honest, driving through Zaporozhye, we tried to count anti-tank ditches in one direction or another with our reporting crew - we always got knocked down.

Concrete "dragon teeth", stretched in many kilometers of lines in two rows, we crossed 50 times a day, moving along the routes Melitopol - Enerhodar - Tokmak and so on. But not only that.

Last summer, we, reporters, appealed to the President with the opinion on the need to strengthen control over our rear territory in the SVO zone. Now, in my opinion, such control is close to the frontline ideal.

Checkpoints are installed at every significant intersection and at close range on highways. I emphasize: there are no traffic jams. Only in one place, at the junction of Donbass and Zaporozhye, at night I saw a long column of trucks in front of one of the checkpoints. Asked. It turns out that this is a remotely corrected passage of the administrative border of the DPR and the Rostov region (so that trucks do not accumulate at the border, they are slowed down along the way, the flow is regulated).

At the checkpoint, the service is carried out by employees of Rosgvardia, representatives of the Ministry of Defense, including those mobilized. Nationalities are different - next to the Russian flag you can see the flags of Russian regions.

Closer to the front line, the posts are associated with strongpoints, pillboxes, dugouts and individual observation points.

And work on equipping these defensive lines does not stop: military and civilian engineering equipment is moving, building materials are being transported. Many thanks to the regions that support their fellow countrymen.

Let's see how the Armed Forces of Ukraine will try to break into the Crimea.
