Chinanews.com, Beijing, March 8th (Reporter Gao Kai) "Literary Writing from the Perspective of Colleges - Seminar on Xiang Jing, Zhu Jing, and Zhang Yiwei's Works" was held a few days ago. Zhu Jing, an associate professor of Nanjing Normal University and a writer, and Zhang Yiwei, an associate professor and a writer of Fudan University, invited a number of academic experts to discuss the new elements that writing from the perspective of colleges and universities provides for the development of contemporary literature, combined with the works of the three authors.

Zhang Li, Associate Dean and Professor of the School of Liberal Arts, Beijing Normal University, He Ping, Professor of Nanjing Normal University, Liu Daxian, Researcher at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of "Research on Ethnic Literature", Yang Qingxiang, Associate Dean and Professor of the School of Liberal Arts, Renmin University of China, "October" Ji Yaya, executive editor-in-chief of the magazine, Yue Wen, researcher and director of the theory department of the Chinese Writers Association, Ma Bing, deputy dean and professor of the School of Liberal Arts of Shandong University, Guo Bingru, professor of Sun Yat-sen University, Zhang Jing, editor-in-chief of "Youth Literature", and deputy director of "Yangtze River Literary Review" He Tongbin, editor-in-chief, Liu Cong, director of the editorial office of Shandong Pictorial Publishing House, Wang Changgai, editor of People's Literature Publishing House, and other experts and scholars attended the seminar.

The seminar was chaired by Chen Tao, editor-in-chief of China Writers Network.

The three authors all start from memory and experience, and "reprocess" on the premise of memory and experience.

In this process, college education plays a very important role. Guo Bingru said that, for example, the author's understanding of literary theory and the advancement of writing techniques are inseparable from the college.

Moreover, the three authors have stayed in the academy for a long enough time, and under the influence of this, they have gradually formed their own evaluation criteria for literature. They must have ideal literature in their minds, and they are moving in this direction in writing.

Liu Daxian pointed out that the academic background of the three authors is mainly reflected in the cultivation of knowledge and literary skills, which is often reflected in irony, self-irony, and self-deprecating analysis in writing, which is a kind of self-referential writing.

He believes that in this kind of writing, it actually reflects the writer himself. The author does not say that he wants to reflect a certain society or detect some changes in the society, but expresses himself, which actually reflects the richness of his heart. emotion.

Yang Qingxiang suggested that college teachers like Xiang Jing, Zhang Yiwei, and Zhu Jing who have lives, lectures, and students in colleges may be able to develop some kind of exclusive structure, which can keep a distance from reality or form a dialogue.

He believes that on this basis, the concept of academic writing is established.

Yang Qingxiang pointed out that there are several elements in this concept, such as self-reliance, which is an internal requirement of the academy; another example is restraint, the authors will not write with particular paranoia, and do not go to extreme aesthetics; there is also context, which can be used in their works I can feel it; another very important thing is "researching far". The college will not be completely coerced by the policies and situations of one place and one place. This is the characteristic of the college.

In their respective works, Xiang Jing wrote about Fu Village, Zhu Jing wrote about Jinling and Nanjing, and Zhang Yiwei wrote about Shanghai.

Ma Bing found that the novel precisely provides three kinds of locality or three kinds of space, "We will find that the narrator of this novel (Fu Cun) mainly expresses not a kind of will, but intends to return to the "field" Find the comfort of some kind of nostalgia." Even if it is not a local theme, the focus of Xiang Jing's novels is not on the wanderer who has left his homeland, but on the wanderer who is concerned, or a person who lives according to traditional ethics.

Yue Wen's discussion focused on what Xiang Jing, Zhu Jing, and Zhang Yiwei's novels were about.

After reading the novels of the three, Yue Wen felt that their creations were related to life, and they wanted to find the meaning of life in the novels.

From this perspective, the three writers may see the same aspects of life, but there are also some very different aspects.

Yue Wen pointed out that Xiang Jing seems to be writing about rural subjects, but it is not the same as the rural writing that the public is familiar with. She feels that what Xiang Jing writes is not the reality of the countryside, but the countryside that the author imagined and experienced. Use Fu Cun to express her attitude towards life.

And Zhang Yiwei's state is more like shouting out the voice of injustice in the heart when expressing trauma.

Xiang Jing, Zhu Jing, and Zhang Yiwei are all "post-80s" female authors, and writers of the same generation often resonate in terms of identity generation and literary experience.

"From the perspective of professional researchers, we have a relationship between contemporary writers and critics," said Zhu Jing.

The academic education gave them enough literary energy and room for growth. Xiang Jing began to write novels while writing literary reviews, "When I read contemporary literary works, it made me want to continue to write something. With a different perspective, you can find some gaps in the creation, which are not the same as traditional literature." On the other hand, there are also some barriers in college writing that need to be overcome. Zhang Yiwei is a college teacher, and her status as a teacher sometimes makes her Getting stuck in literary creation, "This is an old problem, limited by the external environment and bound by self-awareness. It is a long-term problem that needs to be broken through in the future."

In 2022, China Writers.com will launch the "Attitude" column. One of the topics will focus on literary writing from the perspective of colleges and universities, and focus on the current literary creation power in colleges and universities.

At the end of the meeting, Chen Tao concluded that literature in the new era needs batch after batch of literary talents who can sense the spirit of the times and embody the height of the times.

The purpose of this meeting held by China Writers.com is to find, support and cultivate new literary talents as much as possible by coordinating resources and building a platform.
