With the "G7 Hiroshima Summit" to be held in May this year, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has set up a flight restricted area in the sky with a radius of about 46 kilometers, centering on the hotel in Hiroshima City, where the venue will be held. I am preparing for terrorism.

The G7 Hiroshima Summit will be held from May 19th to 21st at a hotel in Minami Ward, Hiroshima City.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has decided to set up a flight restricted area in the sky around the venue based on the Aviation Act in order to prepare for terrorism from the sky using aircraft.

Flight restrictions will be in the air space within a radius of about 46 km from the venue hotel, and the period will be five days from midnight on May 18, the day before the summit, to midnight on May 23.

All flights are prohibited except for regular flights to and from Hiroshima Airport and Iwakuni Airport, as well as helicopters for the police, firefighters, and news media.
