Graduation ceremonies were held on the 4th at many Tokyo metropolitan high schools.

Of these, the graduation ceremony of Tokyo Metropolitan Hakuoh High School in Taito-ku, Tokyo was attended by about 230 third-year students, their parents, and some of the current students.

Most of the graduates attended wearing masks, but some students took off their masks and showed nervous expressions.



In addition, to prevent infection, parents and students were required to wear masks, and the national anthem and school song were played without singing.

At the ceremony, Principal Akiko Miyata said, ``This year's graduates have been forced to endure various things over the three years.



Yugo Aoki, the representative of the graduates, said, "I'm confident that I didn't lose myself even in the corona disaster, and I want to keep moving forward with what I learned at this school."
