“An earthquake of magnitude 3.9 occurred on March 4 at 16:13 (08:13 Moscow time).

The epicenter was located 27 km northwest of the village of Pilvo in the Smirnykhovsky district.

The source of the earthquake was at a depth of 5 km,” said Elena Semenova, head of the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk seismic station.

Earlier it was reported that an earthquake of magnitude 4.5 occurred in Turkey.
