In total, 30 entries are nominated in eight different groups in categories such as book, broadcast media, magazine, smaller newspaper and student dig.

In the national broadcast media category, three of SVT's Uppdrag review programs are nominated, "The last eel", "The homes of power" and "Securita's secrets".

In the same category, TV4's Kalla fakta has two nominations.

In the local broadcast media category, SVT Nyheter Småland is nominated for the review of the fatal accident at Öland's zoo and SVT Nyheter Uppsala for the review "The aid experiment".

Book about Drottninggatan can be praised

Journalist Lisa Röstlund is one of those nominated in the book of the year category for her review of the Swedish forestry industry in "Skogslandet".

In the same category, Åsa Erlandsson is nominated, for her book "Drottninggatan" about the terrorist act in Stockholm's city in 2017.

The jury also awards a special prize to Expressen's David Baas for his investigative journalistic work with the justification: "For his long-term and tireless examination of the national right.

The winners of the Golden Spades are revealed at the Grävseminariet in Karlstad, March 31 - April 1.
