On March 3rd, a kindergarten in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture, held a "Hinamatsuri no Kai" where children became Hina dolls.

The "Hinamatsuri no Kai" has been held every year since about 40 years ago by the kindergarten attached to Takayama Junior College to pray for the healthy growth of children.

Then, the children, dressed as obina and hina, three court ladies, five musicians, etc., climbed the four-tiered tiered tiers prepared in the gymnasium and sat down in order.



This year, the infection control measures for the new coronavirus were eased, and for the first time in four years, it became a Hinamatsuri party in which children from other grades also participated.

The children who became hina dolls enjoyed the meeting together while other children wearing masks and their guardians sang songs and took pictures.



After the meeting, the kindergartener dressed like an obina said, "I was nervous. I was happy to have my picture taken."
